I Don’t Lie About Television

I don’t lie about television, but for some reason when several co-workers and I get going about Arrested Development everyone else immediately acts as if we kicked their dead grandmother in the shins. It’s a great show, and one of the few that I wish I had never seen so that I could watch it again for the first time.

I decided to let this ‘co-worker’ of mine barrow the first season ( I celebrate the entire collection) and I am met with some resistance, but he blamed it on his girlfriend. I think anyone that has watched more than a few episodes will agree that it is one funnier shows to grace television in G memory. It has a dry sardonic wit to it and an excellent cast.

Instant karma is getting him back though, he now has to deal with a large project, that he did not want in the first place, with problems that were unexpected. No-matter that he took it over long before dragging his feet on Arrested Development, it is still the universe righting a wrong, just preemptively this time. The universe gave him a cheap shot for calling me a European tourist when I wear sandals with socks too. Me and the universe are like this (you can’t see it but I’m crossing my fingers).

I’ll link to a few clips from the show here, here, here and . . . here.
